Marinated Pork
Recipe type: Entree
Marinated Pork is a Venezuelan food recipe called Carne Adovada.
  • 4 pounds Pork (ribs, chops or other)
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 3 each Garlic cloves -- crushed
  • 2 teaspoons Whole leaf oregano
  • 1 quart Blended red chili sauce
  1. Sprinkle meat with salt. Add garlic and oregano to blended chili.
  2. Pour over meat and marinate and refrigerate 6-8 hours or overnight.
  3. Cook slowly on top of stove or in 350F oven until meat is done, about 1 hour.
  4. Thick slices of potatoes may be marinated with the meat.
