Herbed Round Steak

Herbed Round Steak
Recipe type: Entree
Herbed Round Steak is a slow cooker recipe with a creamy sauce.
  • 2 lb. beef round steak
  • 1 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 (10¾ oz.) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (10¾ oz.) can cream of broccoli soup
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • ½ tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ c. red or white wine
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  1. Trim fat from steak. Cut meat into serving size portions. In a skillet brown meat in hot oil.
  2. Slice onion and place in bottom of 4 quart crock pot. Place browned meat atop onion.
  3. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat.
  4. Cook on high heat setting for 5 hours.
  5. Serve over rice with steamed broccoli side dish.
