Vafler | Waffles
Recipe type: Entree
Vafler | Waffles is a Norwegian food recipe served with jam and sour cream.
  • 4 eggs
  • 400 g sugar
  • 1 kg wheat flour
  • 1 liter fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 300 ml sour cream
  • 250 g butter
  1. Mix egg and sugar.
  2. Mix baking soda, vanilla sugar and baking powder with some of the flour. Add the rest of flour and the milk, a little at a time while mixing.
  3. Melt butter and pour in.
  4. Let the mixture rest for an hour before you start to cook it.
  5. Eat the waffles with some jam and sour cream.
