Tu B'Shevat Salad
Recipe type: Salad
 
Tu B'Shevat is an Israeli food recipe of salad with oranges.
Ingredients
  • 1 endive
  • 1 bunch watercress
  • ½ head romaine lettuce
  • 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into round slices
  • 2 pitted dates, diced
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard freshly ground pepper to taste
  • ½ cup olive oil
Instructions
  1. Wash, separate, and shred greens. Combine into a salad bowl. Add oranges, dates and cranberries.
  2. For salad dressing, combine vinegar, garlic, honey and mustard. Slowly whisk in oil.
  3. Just before serving, pour dressing on salad and toss.
