Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds are an Armenian food recipe and a popular snack there.
Ingredients
  • 1 lb fresh pumpkin or squash seeds
  • 1 quart water
  • 1⁄4 cup salt
Instructions
  1. Bring seeds to a boil in salted water. Simmer for 30 minutes. Drain.
  2. Spread seeds on a cookie sheet.
  3. Bake in preheated 300F oven, stirring occasionally, for about 1 hour, until seeds are dry and lightly toasted.
