Suspiro
Recipe type: Dessert
 
Suspiro is Brazilian meringue cookie recipe.
Ingredients
  • 4 egg whites
  • 8 tbsp sugar
Instructions
  1. Beat the egg whites until almost hard and add, while still beating, the sugar little by little.
  2. Use a tbsp to drop spoons of the mix onto a baking sheet at least two inches apart.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven (at low heat) for one hour. Do not open the oven.
  4. They should be golden, crispy on the outside and somewhat soft inside.
