Rose Petal Rechel
Recipe type: Dessert
 
Rose Petal Rechel is an Armenian food recipe for sweet rose petal preserves.
Ingredients
  • 1 kg of tea rose petals
  • 2 liters water
  • 6 kg sugar
  • 8 g. lemon salt (lemon acid)
Instructions
  1. Cut the lower (white) part of petals with scissors and make sure there are no dry petals. Place the petals in strainer and rinse them thoroughly with cold water.
  2. Place petals in pan, add water, bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and cook until ready. Add lemon salt to keep petals color.
