Fosolia | Vegetable Stew

Fosolia | Vegetable Stew is an Ethiopian food recipe with green beans and carrots.
Ingredients
  • 500g frozen cut green beans
  • 500g frozen carrots
  • 2 large brown onions
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 50ml vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 cup water
Instructions
  1. In a pot, combine the frozen carrots, beans, onion, oil and water and steam until soft.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium and add the garlic, ginger, sugar and salt.
  3. Stir and cook for 5–7 minutes with the lid on. Be sure not to let it dry out.
