Clatite Simple | Simple Crepes
Recipe type: Dessert
Clatite Simple | Simple Crepes is a Romanian food recipe for thin pancakes.
  • 4 to 6 tbs. flour
  • salt
  • vanilla
  • 1 tbs. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 glass milk
  • jam or honey
  1. Mix flour, pinch of salt, a few drops of pure vanilla extract and powdered sugar.
  2. Add eggs and mix well after each. While stirring, add one tablespoon of water, mix, then pour in slowly and gradually one glass of milk, until you get a very thin batter.
  3. Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes or more.
  4. Oil a frying pan with a small amount of oil, pour in enough batter to cover the bottom of the pan in a thin layer. Heat on both sides.
  5. Spread a small amount of jam or honey on each and roll it up.
