Tort cu Ciocolata | Chocolate Torte

Tort cu Ciocolata | Chocolate Torte is a Romanian food recipe with almonds.
Ingredients
  • 12 eggs, separated
  • ½ lb. powdered sugar
  • vanilla
  • ½ lb. almonds, finely chopped
  • 3 bars chocolate, shredded
  • bread crumbs
Instructions
  1. Beat egg yolks, powdered sugar and a little vanilla for ½ hour.
  2. Add almonds and chocolate and mix well.
  3. Beat until stiff the 12 egg whites and add to the mixture.
  4. Now add finely grated bread crumbs, sprinkling them on slowly until the mixture is the consistency of thick batter mixing very gently.
  5. Butter torte form very well, put in the whole mixture and bake slowly for one hour.
