Cebolada

Cebolada is a Portuguese food recipe of onion and tomato relish.
Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, cut into thin rings
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 medium tomatoes, skinned and chopped
  • 1–3 chili peppers, cored, shredded fine
  • 1⁄4 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
Instructions
  1. Heat oil over medium heat in a deep pan.
  2. Saute onions until translucent. Add garlic and tomatoes and stir well.
  3. Add chilies. Cook for 5–10 minutes until tomatoes are softened.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
