Carrot Cake
Recipe type: Dessert
 
Carrot Cake is a crock pot dessert recipe.
Ingredients
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1½ cups grated carrots
  • 3 eggs
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • ½ cup water
Instructions
  1. Prepare cake by combining all ingredients.
  2. Line bottom of slow cooker with foil. Pour in batter.
  3. Place 5 paper towels between cooker and lid. Put toothpick between paper and lid to allow steam to escape. Do not lift lid for at least 2 hours.
  4. Cook on High for at least 2½ hours or till toothpick comes out clean when tested. Leave in, shut off cooker to cool at least 20 min.
  5. Loosen sides of cake with knife. Invert cake onto plate, foil up. Then on to rack foil side down to cool. Remove foil before serving.
