Baked Bell Peppers

Baked Bell Pepper are a Venezuelan food recipe called Rajas which is sliced peppers covered in cheese.
Ingredients
  • ½ each Green Bell Pepper
  • ½ each Red Bell Pepper
  • ½ each Yellow Bell Pepper
  • ¾ cup Cheese -- Shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Ripe Olives
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper -- Crushed
Instructions
  1. Seed peppers and cut into 6 strips each. Cut bell pepper strips crosswise into halves.
  2. Arrange in ungreased broiler proof pie pan. Sprinkle with cheese, olives and red pepper.
  3. Set oven control to broil. Broil peppers with tops 3 to 4 inches from heat until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes.
